Gluttony
I waited for many hours and searched like a hunter
I fed my gluttony but not my spiritual hunger
With my sharp vision I could see from miles away
You were right there every night and everyday
I ate my prey as I sat on a tall tree
If I meditated, I could've been free
Free from sorrow, free from lust
I realized late and now Iām in a bust
Feeding my family kept me so busy
I learned once I aged when I got more dizzy
My Gluttony caught me as it was time to go; this is something that I should have known
