The A.K.A.
I worked hard as an ant and turned into a chimpanzee
As a vulture I looked for prey and ate meat only
Then I was an animal with a tail like a string
I did not like the form I was given so I had to do something
I went to the Animal Kingdom Authority and they sent me back
This time I was in the form of a gray palm rat
I went to the Animal Kingdom Authority and said I was not ready
Then I turned to a roach–always moving and never steady
I went to the Animal Kingdom Authority and pleaded my case
They agreed to what I said and I was a piggy pink face
I went to the Animal Kingdom Authority and told them they made a mistake
No matter how I came back, I always needed a remake
I wanted to be away from the forms that I knew
All on the ground and including those that flew
Also those that swam in waters who had the best view
After all this, I was left with just a few
I have lived through the circle in this spiritual race
With all Your mercy and with all Your grace
I realized my failures and I yearn for a cure
Make me a human so I can turn my soul pure
As a human, I promise to keep You by my side
Your greatest creation, the ability to think and decide
